HOW TO STORE YOUR STARTER CULTURE
Store the starter culture in the refrigerator until you’re ready to activate it. Use the starter culture by the date on the bag.

Fresh Pasteurized Cream or Half-and-Half (Not UHT/Ultra-Pasteurized)
Equipment
Glass Jar that can hold up to 4 Quarts
Stainless Steel Pot that can hold up to 4 Quarts with Lid (avoid aluminum)
Thermometer
Coffee Filter or Butter Muslin
Rubber Band
Stainless steel / silicone / wood spoon or spatula
