Early season variety with compact plants that grow well in containers. Produces an abundant crop of 3-4″ pungent, medium-hot green peppers that ripen to red. Perfect for pickling. Scoville Heat Units: 3,400-8,000.

Unless you live in a year-round warm climate, start seeds indoors eight to ten weeks before last frost. Keep soil temperature warm (75-80°F) for best germination. Harden off young plants ten days before transplanting and plant outdoors in late spring.
Harvest peppers at green stage or wait a few weeks for a milder ripe-red color.
